squiggly evil!

Just like last week, many students were excused again. It's as if our class will never be whole again. (awws?)

Since Monday, our seatwork in Mathematics was always sudoku. It's not easy to answer compared to the previous ones. This time the grid inside it is irregular. Fewer numbers were given that made it harder to answer. I'm not good in answering sudoku. The hardest for me is the SQUIGGLY EVIL PUZZLE! It never happened that I was able to finish one on time.

This day, Friday, we played volleyball. I love this sport and we all enjoyed playing it. At first there was no rally in our game. Our time was spent by serving the ball then one will get it because no one was able to return the ball back in the opponent's court. To make the game more exciting, we decided to have a "pustahan". The loser team should treat the winner team. Both teams did their best to win the first set. Unfortunately, our team didn't win.

To our opponent's team, be ready next week because we'll beat you in the 2nd set!

a week without them:(

Since the start of school this week, our class was never complete. Two of my classmates are practicing for the Jazz Chant; almost half of the class is attending the meeting for the Regional Science Camp. They are preparing for the contest they'll be participating to.

Last week, I asked permission to my guardians if I can join the camp in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. They agreed and they already bought the things that I might need in camp. On Sunday evening we watched Rated K. We saw that some places in Laguna are still flooded so they changed their minds and didn't allow me to join. They said that they won't be able to sleep at night because they'll be thinking of me. I really wanted to join because because my closest friends joined. I participated in this camp last year and I really enjoyed. I had no choice but to respect their decisions.

It was like everyday is our free time. We only had 3-4 discussions per day. The lesson that I won't forget is the Standard Normal Distribution. Our teacher didn't teach us on how to use the table and let us discover how to use it. At first I wanted to give up and ask my classmates even though we're not allowed. After several days, I was able to understand it! He's right. It feels good to learn something you discovered by yourself. Even though some of my classmates are enjoying their stay in the camp and we're attending classes, it was still fun! I often miss those who went in camp because everywhere I go, they're always with me.

I hope that next time I can join the camp. I hope that on that day, God will give us a good weather! XD

monster projects!

After our so called sembreak, we had a lot of projects to finish the next week. The first on the list is the Sudoku in math. We answered one of the it during our Math time. That was the first time that I answered a sudoku in my entire life! Before I never dared to answer one because I what I know is that it's difficult. I'm glad that I was able to finish that one.

The next on the list is the comic strips in Chemistry. It is required that the topic will be about solutions. It was supposed to be submitted today but I was not able to finish it. There are two main reasons for this. Our teacher gave us two days to finish it (it's too short right?). I've told many times that I'm not good in drawing. I don't understand why it is always a part of some of the lessons which is not Arts!

The last on the list is the reaction paper. During our discussion in A.P., a question was given to us. It can be answered after it is being asked because it’s asking for an opinion. I don't think there's a need for us to make a reaction paper.

sembreak?!?!

Some places in Manila, Laguna, Pasig and in different provinces in Luzon are still flooded due to typoon Ondoy. We are very fortunate because even though it flooded in some places in Cavite, it was nothing compared to what happened in the mentioned places. After the no classes last Monday, classes were resumed on Tuesday.

Everyone that day is not in the mood to have lessons and activities. The news that made us hate school even more is that Department of Education Secretary Jesli Lapus removed the sembreak. His reason was because there were a lot of disturbances for the past months so there's a need for make up classes. What the? It is not our fault for having many disturbances. Urgghh!

Before we went home, our adviser told us something. She told us that we need not to shout after hearing the announcement. We promised her that we'll follow what she said. When we heard that there won't be classes starting Wednesday to Friday, we broke our promise. We jumped, shouted and almost cried! Our adviser is playing Farmville and she asked us to send her trees. I'm not playing this game so I can't give her. I'm still thinking if I'll try this game. (WOW! haha)

Since last week, i got a feeling that this would happen! I spent the week in front of the computer playing facebook. I'm addicted to Pet Society! I love the features of this game and I love decorating my house and changing the style of my pet:)
